Terms & Conditions
By booking an appointment with LSCJ Beauty & Aesthetics, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
BOOKINGS & BOOKING FEES
All appointments require a booking fee at the time of booking. Your appointment is not secured or confirmed until the required booking fee has been paid.
Booking fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the final cost of your treatment.
A valid payment card must be added to your account on the booking system when making an appointment. By booking, you agree to the cancellation and no-show terms below and authorise any applicable charges to be taken from the card held on your account, where permitted by the booking/payment provider.
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, more than 24 hours’ notice must be provided.
With more than 24 hours’ notice, no cancellation charge will apply and your booking fee may be transferred to a new appointment date.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time will incur a charge equal to 50% of the remaining outstanding treatment balance. Your original booking fee will not be refunded or transferred.
NO-SHOWS
Clients who fail to attend their appointment without providing notice will be charged 100% of the remaining outstanding balance.
The original booking fee remains non-refundable.
Any outstanding cancellation or no-show fees must be paid before another appointment can be booked.
LATE ARRIVALS
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Arriving late may result in your treatment time being shortened or, where there is insufficient time to carry out the treatment safely and correctly, the appointment may need to be cancelled.
Where an appointment cannot proceed due to late arrival, it may be treated as a late cancellation and the applicable cancellation charge may apply.
CONSULTATIONS
Some treatments may require a consultation before treatment can take place.
Consultation fees are payable when booking. The consultation fee will be deducted from the cost of any treatment booked during the consultation.
A consultation does not guarantee that a treatment will be suitable or able to go ahead. Treatment will only be provided where the practitioner considers it appropriate and safe to do so.
TREATMENT SUITABILITY & MEDICAL INFORMATION
Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding their medical history, medications, allergies, previous treatments and any changes that could affect their treatment.
Certain treatments may not be suitable for everyone. LSCJ Beauty & Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse, postpone or alter a treatment where it is considered necessary for the client’s safety or where treatment is not considered appropriate.
Where required, clients must complete the relevant consultation and consent documentation before treatment.
RESULTS & EXPECTATIONS
Treatment results vary from person to person and specific results cannot be guaranteed.
Where applicable, clients are responsible for following all pre-treatment and aftercare advice provided. Failure to follow the recommended aftercare may affect your treatment outcome.
PRESCRIPTION TREATMENTS
Prescription-only treatments are subject to appropriate consultation, assessment and prescribing requirements.
Payment or booking of an appointment does not guarantee that a prescription treatment will be provided. Treatment will only proceed where it has been assessed as clinically appropriate.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
Age restrictions may apply depending on the treatment requested. Valid photographic identification may be requested where necessary.
Treatments will not be carried out where doing so would breach applicable age restrictions or professional requirements.
REFUNDS
Booking fees are non-refundable.
Once a treatment has been carried out, refunds are not provided simply because the client changes their mind or because the result differs from their personal expectations.
This does not affect any rights you may have where a service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill or any other rights you have under applicable consumer law.
BEHAVIOUR
LSCJ Beauty & Aesthetics operates a respectful environment. Abusive, threatening, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour towards the practitioner, staff or other clients will not be tolerated.
LSCJ Beauty & Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where appropriate.
PHOTOGRAPHY & SOCIAL MEDIA
Before-and-after photographs may be taken for treatment records where appropriate.
Photographs will not be used for marketing or social media without the client’s appropriate permission.
CHANGES TO APPOINTMENTS
In the unlikely event that LSCJ Beauty & Aesthetics needs to cancel or rearrange your appointment, you will be offered an alternative appointment. Any booking fee already paid will be transferred to the rearranged appointment or otherwise dealt with as required by applicable consumer law.
AGREEMENT
By completing a booking and paying the required booking fee, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the associated cancellation and no-show policy.
LSCJ Beauty & Aesthetics reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions when necessary. The terms applicable to your booking will be made available through the booking process.
